The name comes from a mountainous area overlooking all the Valbelluna. Nevagal is really snowy during the winter and really rich of fodder during the summer. In order to produce this cheese, the milk of the race Bruna Alpina is used.
It is a really soft, sweet and delicate cheese with an intense smell. Serving suggestions:
perferably eaten as table-cheese, due to its very good melting properties, it is used also to prepare stuffing and gratin dishes.
