The Majoleras were used during the spring, before going to the mountains’ pastures’ with the animals, and then in autumn after returning from summers’ pastures’.The Majolera was composed by two different buildings: the first and the biggest was constituted by the cowshed and the barn, while the second building, called Casèra, included the kitchen, the cheese-cellar and was used for the milk preservation.
The brickworks were made by chalky stones coming from local caves.
