A path with a historical and archaeological nature, which brings you discover “covoli”: they are shelters under the rock that housed small prehistoric communities, now subject of archaeological researchs of natural workers of the National Park of Dolomites Bellunesi. The traces of human presence, in the period between the Neolithic to the Middle Ages, have been brought to light in four different sites, including also a burial which is dated back to the eighth and tenth centuries A.D.
Location: Val di Lamen, in the municipality of Feltre.
Access: from Pedavena follow the signs for Val di Lamen, along the valley road to a bridge over the Colmeda river (picnic area in the Park).
