In these patches of barren land were cultivated cereals, vegetables, vineyards and orchards which allowed the survival of many generations of the Arina population. But the main occupation was the transhumance; till the 40’s, dozens of families were still dedicated to this activity. After a 20-minute ride you will reach the two suburbs of “Gai”, small groups of traditional houses situated above Valpora. Once into the valley, the path turns left and it becomes a particularly stunning ride that makes its way through rocks and the gorge of the Valpora stream.
