From the center of the picturesque village of San Donato, passing in front of the former school and the old diary recently restored, you will reach the Tomii village. Here you can admire a beautiful capital of 1860 dedicated to St. Rocco, an ex-voto (votive offering) made after the cholera epidemics of 1836 and 1855. From the capital, an old paved mule track leads to “Col del Vent”, and after a 30-minute ride you will arrive to Valnuvola. This village is characteristic for the arrangement of the houses, a place that has always been border between Feltre’s and Trentino’s territories. Returning to St. Donato, you can see near the “Col della Cros” hill two stone quarries, used to build the bell tower of San Donato and of the Cathedral of Lamon. Finally you will arrive to the Sartor suburb which overlooks the deep and mysterious valley of Senaiga, with its legends, caves, waterfalls and the many testimonies of the ingenious work of its inhabitants.
