This scenic route reaches the mountain area of “Le Ej”, situated on the foot of the southern slope of Mount Coppolo. Long and amazing paths lead the bikers to the valley, passing through the hamlet of S. Donato. From here, take the path that leads to the town of Costa. The plateau of Lamon is known for its archaeological findings dating back to prehistoric times and it is crossed by the most famous Roman road, the Via Claudia Augusta Altinate. In fact, the itinerary crosses a Roman-style bridge, still in good conditions. Lamon is also known for the “fagiolo di Lamon” (a particular kind of bean), cultivated using traditional and environmentally friendly methods (30% dirt road, 50% single track, 20% asphalt)
