Wonderful ring-route that will take you throughout different environments. Starting from the county town, you will descend to Ponte Serra. This bridge over the Cismon stream was built with the opening of the road that connects Fonzaso to Primiero in 1882. Just below there was a bridge from medieval times. After a small tunnel you will find yourself above the artificial barrier of Senaiga 62 m high, built between 1949 and 1951. After the dam, the forest road makes its way above a stretch of the lake. On the lake can be seen wild ducks and on the banks grey heron. Further down the road, you will go up to the Prese area, a wide grassy slope still well kept. A small opening between the trees lets you take a glance of a striking view of the plateau of Lamon and Sovramonte, dominated by Mt. Coppolo and by the Vette Feltrine peaks, as the Pale di San Martino and the Lagorai’s mountain group. Going down till Vapora, you will then reach the walkway on Lake Senaiga.
