The Solivi of Arsiè are rural housings constituited by tipical buildings exposed favourably to the sun. Its architecture is characterized by small wood- balconies connected by stairs.
On the groundfloor there are the cowshed and the shelter for the farm implements with a solid barrel vault, while on the other floors there were the kitchen, the bedrooms and the barn.
The balcony was used as storage area for the firewood or to dessicate corn, beens, nuts and tobacco. This buildings are typical of Fastro, a little village near Arsiè.
