Here it seems that the time has stopped: infact it is possible to enjoy the sound of the nature, surrounded by contemplative calm. The building is one of the most important exemple of manor dwelling of the seventeenth-century and was built by the Tauro family.
The owner was a passionate of arts and embellished the villa with a lot of artistic and archeologic works, creating a real collection.
Unfortunately, during the Austrian invasion, a lot of art works went lost. Among the saved works, in the rustic wing of the building, in an vaulted room, there is the Claudia Augusta Altinate milestone, dating back around 47 AD and found in Cesiomaggiore in 1786.
